Personality: 

She's tomboyish just like her mother but also a good head on her shoulders for one of her age as evidenced as she only has one dress to put on and that was for a family member's wedding. Being the leader of the group she's also has a strong sense of responsibility and seriousness, she also thinks on the fly which seems to work for her most of the time.

Due to this she's inexperienced when it comes to liking a boy, this weakness of hers has been exposed by her cousin Allie evidenced by Jo's stuttering and blushing when she sees a boy that has taken her interest.

She'll also get more defensive about her appearance and she'll offer to spend time with the person regardless of the location the person is heading to.

Due to being a teenager she has yet to learn everything despite her experiences traveling around the world.
